5 Stars Great product
I use a dual screen for my laptop so I wanted to get my laptop screen right next to my large display. With my T60p and the docking station it works great. I had to tighten the tension screw about 15 turns but it works great now. Can work very easily with both my screens at eye level now. Would highly recommend this product to anyone. It even worked great at home to just prop up my laptop. I use an external keyboard so I don’t need the keyboard on the laptop.

4 Stars Looks good and functional, but construction quality doesn’t live up to Ergotron name
I own a lot of Ergotron gear considering I am “just a guy”–I have several DS100 stands and various brackets, poles, and bases. I was excited when this product came out, and finally got around to picking up two of these stands.

My first impression was that the build quality of the stand is nowhere close to the quality of the expensive Ergotron gear. However, this stand is pretty cheap relative to many Ergotron products. The stand requires a little assembly; nothing difficult. The height and tilt have a good range of motion and stay put where you place the stand. There is no need to “lock” a position into place.

One thing that’s kind of cool is the “swivel” feature–The two front “legs” of the stand have little wheels, making the stand easy to rotate from side-to-side without having to pick up the stand and reposition it. Very cool.

I have a MacBook Pro on one of these stands and the colors match pretty well. The optical drive on the front of the MacBook Pro is accessible even with the little lip on the front of the stand.

So the stand works–the raised height and angle of the two laptops I am using these with are much better. The stand looks attractive in a professional environment and doesn’t cost very much, especially if you find it under list price.
